Yea, mine will idle at 400 till it shuts off. Then It will fire right back up. If I pat the gas alittle for a few it will idle up.....but at the same time I have a flooding prob. but the fuel pressure is only reading 27-30 lbs while its running, but will eventually flood if you leave it there idling for a long time. But Im running 2 fuel pumps, and I know its got enough pressure, cause I ran it up to 8000rpms saturday when I was playing with my slicks and 2 step and line lok, and it never missed a beat.

you have two fuel pumps and are only getting 30 lbs. i would say there is a problem there. first thing i think of is air in the fuel line. are the plugs fouling?

The other fuel pump kicks on when i arm the nos. I dont know ifbthe autometer gauge is right. I bought it from my buddy, he had it on one of his cars.
My fuel pressure with the car off, jumps to 30 then drops to 0. Then i crank it and its at 30 instantly.....that why im looking for some fuel rails, mines been chopped up in the back and has rubber lines connecting the 2 sides.

if the pressure is dropping right away then it could be the pressure regulator, stuck fuel pump back flow valve or stuck or damaged injector

Had the same problem on very cold mornings. I'd have to pump it to get it fire up. Sometimes it'd die on me in gear. Have your battery tested somewhere. I did mine a few days ago when I got off work at Advance. Turned out the CCA on the battery was waaay low. Took it home, set it on the charger (2 amp, slow charge) for a few hours, woke up the next day and fired right up.

Another thing you can try is turn the key to run for 30 seconds, 3 times, and on the fourth try starting it. An older gentlemen at work told me to try this. I didn't get the chance since mine was the battery, but let me know how it goes.

I have a new battery and crazy even tho it reads low pressure it floods and revs 8000 + rpm with ease. Is there a way to check the injectors? I have a new fuel rail and regulator on the way.

Mine acts similar on cold mornings but my car is all stock except for headers. In the morning it will fire right up rev to about 1300 rpm and stall on its way back down. All within 5 sec. Right after that it will fire right up and run perfect all day. IS this a fuel pressure issue too? I can check the pressure this weekend when I have access to my gauge again.

if you are pumping it you add air not fuel. and if its is starting easier that way then you are rich. be a good idea to have the injectors cleaned and tested. check the 02 sensors to see if they are fouled. plugs may be as well.
