Default Cold Natured

Cold natured is one thing, but I think we have a problem. 79 Camaro rebuilt stock 305 2 barrel. Middle of Texas temperature in the 90s. Runs great after 10 or 12 minutes, but is difficult to keep running until then. We arejust learning our way around the car, but are happy to dig in.

Thanks for your help.

Daughter has a stock 79 Camaro (in her words a "polite car") that we just got on the road after 14 months of work.
Son has an81 Z28 that we just dragged out of a field and started.

Check the choke & make sure it is working right and check the linkage to the fast idle cam. Also it should have a heat riser hose to feed it hot air to the carb till the engine warms up.
