so, the actron 9145 per above will read codes from a 1995 LT-1 using the OBDII cable? nothing else needed for this OBDI car?

i also have the actron 9145 and love it i have never used it to read obd1 cars but its works very well and i myself paid about 300 for it so if you can pick up that unit for 30 bucks jump on it

tks. manual says it reads OBDI

works just fine with the 95Z

you don't need any special power cable. You only need a 9v battery for the scanner.
