Clutch problems!
Ok here's the deal i put a new clutch in my 94 Z28. After putting it all back together the car will not go into gear i also put a new clutch slave on it. while the car is not running it will go in to gear fine but not running. Now if i put in gear then start it, it will drive but i can't shift to the next gear?????
Please help does it sound like a bleeding problem on my part?
And yes i took the tranny back out to make sure it was put in right!

So let me clarify what's going on here...
You cannot shift while the car is running (not even into neutral?), but if you put the car into gear while it's off, it will start and you can move the car but you can't shift after that. While the car is running, moving and in gear, if you depress the clutch pedal does the motor slow down?

You didn't answer my question about if the motor returns to idle or not when you're moving and you push the clutch pedal. If it does return to idle this means that your clutch is working correctly (or at least for the most part). You could try to bleed the system a little more, it's possible that it's not completely releasing. If you can, put your car on a slight incline and put it in gear, depress the clutch pedal. If the car starts to roll the clutch is working correctly.

Well i bled the system once more and i can get into gear and drive it but its really hard to get in to gear unless its around 2 1/2 RPM it will go in smoothly but another thing if im pushing the brake it does not want to go into gear unless i cram it hard!!!!! and if im im at a stand still it dont want to go into gear and the gears will grind here and there...can't down shift for sure!

Well, if you bled the system and it improved the issue, I would say you need to keep bleeding. I've never bled the clutch on a Camaro, but on my Subaru it was a major pain, and there were many times I thought it was bled when it wasn't.
