Default Clutch Change !

My friend and I are in the process of changing the clutch on my 96 z28. Right now we are almost ready to drop the transmission.....

I was wondering if anyone has any how to guides on clutch changes?

Or any tips ?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks everyone

Can anyone recommend a good clutch ? I'm looking for a nice aftermarket clutch that won't break the bank. Any suggestions ?

Thanks everyone for your input....I went to a local clutch shop today and they are making a clutch for me. It will hold up to 500 hp. I'm still working on getting the tranny down...some of the bolts are HARD to get too...one bolt is so tight the impact won't take it off Does anyone have any tips or how to guides ? I picked up a manual today but it doesn't really adress the location of the bolts and how to attempt them

Got the tranny down !

I did break a few bolts... haha

I actually had to cut one bolt on the Y pipe because it was rusted so bad I just wasn't able to turn it....And I sheared two bolts on the top Y pipe, but I am planning on replacing all that with headers and an ORY. So...no harm no foul. The tranny took me about 4 hrs to drop...man it didn't wanna come out. haha
