Check engine light

Means that Autozone uses a cheap scanner that is not programmed to define the code it read. However, it should give the DTC number, which can then be looked up in a good service manual. OBDII has several types of codes. Generic trouble codes are defined by law, while proprietary codes, such as you indicated, are defined as the manufacturer sees fit. Many good scanners are programmed to define most proprietary codes, but it is always best to check with the FSM.
