Engine cleaning: I like to use spray Gunk. However;do NOT get the distributor wet, under any circumstance, unless you enjoy installing a new one. Optispark hates water.
Engine Oil change: FSM calls for 5W30 winter, 10w30 summer. However, if car has over 100K miles 10w40 year round may work out better. I prefer Mobil1, but any good brand name oil of the right viscosity will do fine as long as you change it, and the oil filter every 3000 miles.
Chassis lubrication. The lower ball joint have grease fittings, which are hard to see as they are hiden inside the wheels, don't forget to shoot some grease in these fittings every 3000 miles also. May have to remove the front wheels if you don't have the right shape gun.
