Default Changing a cam

im seriously concidering changing the cam in my 350 to be slightly meaner. Is this a motor out type of change? or can it stay in? what? I have an 89 RS. Its nothin to special yet, as you all know by now, but im modifying it bit by bit as the money is available.

motor stays in. you will have to change the lifters as well. the intake and distributor has to be removed. most all the accessories a/c, alternator, power steering will have to be moved to the side. harmonic balancer, water pump, and timing chain cover has to come off. the radiator, fan, and a/c coil will have to be taken out. good luck. sick

third generations are hard to work with, no room anywhere. if it were me and i were doing a valvetrain upgrade, ide just pull the motor out, and while its out, clean up the engine bay spotless.

im not plannin on doin that though, not untill i can get a new car for a daily driver and then make this car a mean street machine.
