Default Camaro Repairs mine is a 1997 Z

Its almost spring and every year ihave to convince mywifethat I should not sell my Camaro because this year its not going to break down. I was just curious on what problems everyone else has had. and how many miles. This is everything mine had done itshas 82,000 miles now.

new pass window motor 50,000 miles
New Waterpump 56,000 miles
new radiator 56,000 miles
New transmission(Auto)62,000 miles
New Oil Manifold 66,000 miles
Newtie rods 68,000 miles
New EGR Valve 70,000 miles
New Fuel Pump 75,000 miles

That’s everything. but I am worried about the electrical going out. the lights flicker and are dim quite a bit. sometimes the dome / dash lights don’t even flip on, hit a bump and their back???

Wow thats a lot of problems/ things that you had to replace so far. I have a 1995 Z28 and it too has only 84,000 miles and luckily i've only had to replace a new water pump at like 80,000 miles and the oil pan gasketat like 82,000 miles. Well i've done several maintance things to it like changing the:spark plugs, fuel filter, etc. Luckily (knock on wood) i've never had a major electrical problem (howevermy new subwoofer and amp draw way to much volts from my batterywhich causes mybatteryvoltage to decrease from time to time.) But man I feel bad about your casebecause I would go insaneif that many problems havesurfaced at that low of miles. But do you happen to only drive it during the spring andsummer months?

wow i can't believe I am the only one with all these issues. There is abosolutly no rust or imperfections to the outside.A few rubs in the 11 year-oldwhite leather but nothing serious. But when the car is sitting in the garage it looks gorgous. I do keep it covered mostly and drive it on weekends and occasionally take it to work. During the winter it sits alot but not for anytimeframe like6 months without a run. The longest it sits would never bemore than3 weeks. But driving it is another question. It runs real smooth but things just keep breaking. One day its great, the next day it won't shift gears. I just cant believe nobody else has these problems !!
