The Hot Cam is an excellent cam for the street. It offers a nice gain over stock, and it's also just as streetable. Your grandmother could drive it to the grocery store and back.

With decent machining and quality bolt-ons, you're lookin' at about 350-370 whp.

Probably around there, but the cam alone won't get you that much, if you get the whole hotcam kit that includes the 1.6 roller rockers it's possible that you can see gains like that.

Exactly. Just going with a cam ain't gonna cut it. You gotta have supporting mods.

i WOULD say that 310rwhp sounds kinds high for a basically stock lt1 (CAI, catback, and tb) but I drive an ls1 and aparently saying that would be considered a hate crime [&o]

I dont know the specs on the hotcam, but I have heard of stock-head lt1's running 350-370hp with full boltons and a big cam. I believe the hotcams have a similar grind to some comp cams, but since I dont have one of those cars i havent researched it that much

A CAI, catback, and throttle body on a stock LT1 isn't going to net any more than about 275 whp.

It's not a hate crime, Specter. We already hate you.
