If im going like 45-50 and wot itll hit the rev limiter and i have to let off the gas before it shifts. It also around 1600-2000 rpm when cruising the rpms jump it weird. Its like if i was revving it. What could these problems be?

Sounds like the trans may be slipping.

 

assuming its a auto ^^^ agree or the converter is failing.

 

To me it sounds like the trans isn't up-shifting like/when it should (it doesn't shift till he gets off the gas).
Possibly a shift solenoid or valve body problem.

 

could be running out of trans fluid.
