I have used scat and two of my engines which has a scat cranks has never failed me

So what makes them poo? If it's the china thing well guess where all that cash for clunkers steel went to?
I have used eagle and they were junk and RPM is a knock off as well

You should be able to pick up a rotating assembly kit from somewhere for around 1700-1800 bucks. If you get the machining done free your still over 1k and then i would expect to spend 2-3k on a heads and cam. LE2 are around 1800 with the intake, i think? then the rest of the supporting mods will add up fast.
