Hi everyone , I got a 95 z28 LT1 w/6 speed trans. Whenever I shut the car off after driving it i get a bad fuel odor near the rear of the car. Ive looked for a leak but cant find one. just wandering if anyone else has had this problem . thanks

 

Are you sure it's gasoline your smelling and not the catalitic converter. Check around the seam of the tank, Gas evaporates and small leaks can be hard to find.

 

Check the EVAP canister and hoses under left rear fender.

 

yes i have the same ploblem, but mine those not smell like gas it smells like burned rubber, like if i just had finish burning rubber, i thought i could be my Evap canister dunno
