Default Automatic to a 6-speed, driveshaft different?

I currently have an automatic transmission for my LT1, wanting to rebuild and then put in a 6-speed. Do I need to get a new driveshaft too?

What Craby was saying is that swapping an auto for a manual is not a simple project on these cars. About the only thing that may be the same between an auto and a manual car is the driveshaft.

There is a lot of other stuff that needs to be changed and a lot of it is not cheap or easy to do.
