Any trouble getting the engine out?

Default Any trouble getting the engine out?
Are there any hard parts removing the engine out the top? Anything I should be aware of before I start? And pointers or tips?

LT1 with the T56. Do I need to remove the transmission with the engine or can it stay

If you're going out the top remove the trans. Remove the radiator and the crank pulley. Stop by the local parts store and get one of these. It'll make removing it a lot easier.

out the bottom yes its easier to remove trans with engine. not really that much to it. have you downloaded a service/shop manual for your year
