alternator bracket

Default alternator bracket

97 z28 vert
anyone know where i can get a lower alternator bracket ive checked ebay and none of the junk yards by me have any camaros

the big one on front or little one on back?

the big one its the one that the lower left hand bolt goes into i changed the alternator and the piece of the bracket that the bolt threads into is broken off and the guy who owned it be for me just put a nut on the end of the bolt

glad to help. may want to look at your idler while its out. make sure its not getting worn.

you its funny you say that about a month ago i went to change all of the pullys when i replaced the ac compresser it doesnt have an idler pully it has ac pully,alternator,belt tensoner,power steering and the balencer thats all the pullys there are even when i spoke to the parts place i use they said i had to bring the old in cause they would have to mach it up

yah i only have one to so i just call it a idler.lol. sorry if any confusion. i replaced mine cause the belt slipped at high rpms. weak spring. had to get a gator belt to boot before it went completely away. such a odd noise i thought it was the trany. rms is a good place to get parts to. http://www.rmsautoparts.com/categories.php?cat=20
