I have a bad *** 95 Z28 that was hit in the front. I disassembled everything and need to find a donor car. Will a V6 camaro be alright to use or is the Z designed different? This body style is new to me, thanks.

 

as far as body parts any camaro from 93-97 will work. However for the suspension and front k member are different. the suspension on the Z's is a lot stiffer and than that of one from a v6 model and the front k member is designed to clear the oil pan for the original engine. You are better off to stick with finding a donor Z, check the wanted and classified sections, people are always posting up parts they no longer need.

 

also check craigslist as they usually have a lot of guys parting out thier cars

The car wasn't hit too bad. The damage is to the nose and radiator support. The steering whell is bent and the bags deployed. I am goin to use my truck to pull the radiator support out as well. I'm going to post some pictures of it.

 

the front end isn't to bad to tear apart. also the brackets that connect to your fenders straighten out pretty easy. My car was wrecked when i bought it and it wasn't to bad to realign everything.

 

im currently looking for the bumper cover for my 94 z28 and havent found much on craigslist nor on nearby junk yards/auto dismantle, and those who have it ask about 150-300 used, i think your best bet if buying a new piece online...
