which front clip do I have
my turn signals are in the lower valance not by the headlights and they are the rectangular ones not the round ones, This is a 72 model so apparently someone wanted it to look like a 73??????? am I correct?

RE: which front clip do I have
The only cars that had the parking lights next to the headlights are the ones with RS package, if yours are on the lower valance it could be anything but an RS, they had, LT, LT/SS, SS, LT/Z28, Z28, with standard front ends, and a full bumper. The only original split bumpers with the parking lights next to the headlights came on cars that had the RS packages, LT/RS, RS, RS/SS, OR RS/Z28, 70-72 RS's had the split bumper front end until 73 when they were forced to put the full bumper on the RS due to safety issues. I could be wrong, or forgetting something, but thats what I have researched. Hope that answers your question, Rick

RE: which front clip do I have
70 through 73 had the same exact front end their were no differences between them years. Standard, SS, or Z/28 had the rectangle parking light/ turn signals below the head light and they also had a full one peice bumper. Any one with RS had the split (2 peice) Bumper and the little circle parking lights beside the head lights. Thats only models with RS such as RS/SS, or RS/Z28 or just RS
