Taking the intake manny off is quite easy should be just a few bolts might be diffrent lengths of them so get some tape and mark them as you take them out.And it just seems youve got a sticky lifter shouldnt be to hard to switch out read up about it if your not sure how to do so your self there should be some right ups some where on a f-body site since it seems like sticky lifters is a common thing on these motors.Got anymore questions man just ask and im sure we will all try and help anyway that we can Good luck man.

still havent gotten around to touching the car. but im planning on what to buy for it?????

im not getting any oil out of 2 rockers, and im sure those lifters are nasty. so im thinking about replacing the lifters/rods and rockers? i have a few hundred to spend but really want to spend as little as possable because i need to save for a paint job. price for price oem and aftermarket are generally not far apart in price range, im a newb on these cars so any suggestions what i should put in the completely stock motor?

lifters and gaskets will cost some bucks better start your budget and see what its gona be. i would say if u can do it consider haveing a valve job done and get some new head gaskets in there. old 6s are weak there.
