hi i got a 84 camaro with the 305 it ran when i bought it but it had alot of problems i replaced all the belts plugs new distributor plug wires, fuel filter battery and now it wont start i have the fireing order right i am 100% sure about that ive checked multiple times. when i replaced the plugs 2 of the plugs werent hooked up the wires were just loosly put on so those two plugs werent active so i hooked em up with new plugs and wires and now it wont start i gotta get this car back on the road its what i got to get to work..

is the engine turning over? is it getting fuel? if you changed the filter, the line may have run dry. is it tbi or carb? it might be starved of fuel and if its carbed, it will take a while until the pump primes itself again. try a small shot of ether and see if it runs.

 

it turns over and i took the filter and cover off and when i turned it over it would spout gas up out of the carb so its getting fuel

Are you saying gas is spouting out of the carb as you're cranking the engine over to start it?

 

yes it spouts probly a foot and a half out the carb. but it ran before i change the plugs. as soon as i changed em it wouldnt start.
