You will need a whole doner car. Remember your computer connects to all the sub systems. All those sub system changed for 94-98. SO you will need most of the electronics from the doner car. Infact to do the swap right you would only be using your shell. Everything else will have to come from the doner car including the front K member/suspention.

and believe it or not the door panels from your 94 will not fit to the 97-02 dash properly. They look the same but trust me here they are not.

And what gorn said... You basicly need the doner car. Check out the engine swap thread in the v6 section, you will be following those instructions. Depending on the ABS and rear diff you may be needing to change that too.

have you even considered what we told you about doing bolt ons and seeing if that's enough for you? or do you just like making threads?

I already got some of my bolt ons. but y spend 2-3k on bolt ons if I can get an ls1 for the same price. but a donor car? I'll stay wit my lt1. and as for all my threads, I'm new to the camaro life so I post all questions I get so that i don't end up throwing away money cuz I know absolutely nothing as to what I'm doin and how to do it. learning as I go.

Spending 2-3k and a couple hours on bolt ons is bargain compared with 2-3k on the motor then 2-3k on a donor car then 2-3 weeks putting it all together...all told a 2-3k motor probably will cost you 10-15k to get done especially after you consider what your time is worth.
