94 Z28 LT1 runs when cold, shuts off when hot

yep, took me about 2 days. also if you dont have a scanner, your local gm dealership or a shop should be able to do that for you. and if you have to change the pump, make sure theres no fuel in it, makes it alot easyer. i didnt think about it and left it about half full. and lifting that up and down by urself is not easy at all.

When I ran it by autozone today they said there machine wont hook up to it that it has to be a 95 or newer... I know there all the same form 93-97 but I guess they have different plugs.... so I called a couple dealers around town and the cheapest I can get it scaned is 125....thats pretty ridiculous!! so idk.... I can get a new fuel pump for 120.... so im kindof between a rock and a hard place here!

Also I have another question.... I have another 94 camaro parts car with a v6..will that fuel pump work? I look'd a couple fuel pumps up on ebay and they all seem to be for the 3.8 and the lt1?? any idea if there the same?

i believe the fuel pumps are the same but do u really want to put a pump in that may work for only a day. if ur gona do it do it right. there are some things that can make the computer turn the fuel pump off so u may want to see if your getting power to the pump.
