I think so lol, its never happened to me atleast.

Would this set be okay since it has catalytic converters on the y-pipe?

Also, would shorties give me more low end power or are LT's good for that?

yeah i figured, i took my cat out and now i have to angle my car to go over speed bumps or else it hits right there, the first time i expected it because i still had exhaust clamps but now that ive welded it, ive had it still hit before. maybe im just lucky at finding the oversized speed bumps or something

I never hit my stock system and I've only scraped my headers once (stupid driveways!)

Anyway, back on topic, yes hascet, that is exactly what I have and they're great!

im not sure about il, but in mo i was told that i didnt need emissions testing done on my 94z, anything 95 and newer has to have it though. unfortunatly you still need a cat for safety inspection unless unless you know someone, which im learning the hard way after buying my car and then finding out it has no cat so it failed inspection lol

Emissions are based on county, so it varies within states as well. Usually they cap it off at 95 and down (1996 was the first year for OBDII).

You ought to try CA, they test anything 1976 and newer!!!!!

Gonna see if the Kooks fly in CA!!
