93 Camaro Z28 LT1 Blowing Fuses - HELP!
Hi Friends - I have a question regarding blowing fuses and would appreciate a response from anyone who might be able to shed a little light on my issue as it is beginning to drive me nuts - Car runs fine BUT went over a bump the other day driving over these wonderful Maine roads (better suited for wagons rather than cars) anyway... I blew a 20 amp light fuse. I have replaced this fuse three times now and still continues to blow. Have a new battery, checked all wiring that I could see, all looks well. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Does anyone know where I might start looking to resolve this issue? I would sure appreciate any input! Thanks!

sounds like maybe you have a bare wire touching metal somewhere. Whatever fuse is blowing, that would be the wire to trace down. I guess you figured that too since you checked the wiring you could see. Maybe its bare where you cant see it.

That would be my guess, sounds like a dead short happening.

Well after spending hours tracing down wires I finally discovered the problem. It was a poorly installed after market radio installed by the previous owner. I took power from a differnt source and srtopped blowing fuses! Thank to everyone who posted, I really appreciated the help. The schematics were great! I kept them as they will be a good source for the future.
