Smile 93 Camaro Z28 5.7L LT1 Water Pump Repair Instruction

Hello Friends!

I was wondering if anyone out there would have instructions/diagrams on how to replace my 1993 Camaro Z28 5.7L LT1 Water Pump?

Any help you could give me would sure be appreciated, I am trying to save a few buck by doing it myself, but I have never replaced one of these before. I have a new pump and the gaskets but need a little advise/repair info. If you have any docs that would be great!

Thanks so much friends!

Hopefully you are replacing the waterpump because it was diagnosed as the problem, and not because your car is overheating and you just assume it to be the WP??

Anyway, see that thing behind the waterpump with 8 spark plug wires and a coil wire? Why that's the optispark and you don't want to soak it. Also, the screenshot of the manual does not mention that you will need to bleed air from the system with the 2 bleeder screws after you are done

Drill a hole in the thermostat to save yourself a headache, and i'm a big fan of the electric water pump now too, you can bleed the system without running the car.
