I was wandering what I could do for 8,000 I have a 93z28 A4 85,000miles, I was going to overhaul and was wandering what price range a good overhaul should be for stock LT1 and what I could do performance wise with 8k. I mainly what a good low end car, but quick top end as wellall options wanted. Ty in advace

 

Get the short block rebuilt with compression between 8 or 9:1 and get a blower kit. Don't forget to save extra for a rear end because once you make power the pile of **** 7 5/8 ring gear is going to take a crap. I've went through 4 gear on mine finally getting an S60 rear end from strange.
