i have a 305 now and its just to slow, a friend of mine says he will give me a complete 350 motor....i only have about 300 bucks can i make the swap or what should i do??? please lots of suggestions would be useful, thanks

GO FOR THE SWOP. EVERYTHING SHOULD BOLT UP. JUST A LITTLE WORK.

 

First, make certain you know what shape the 350 is in. Does it run well? Is it all there? If not make certain you can afford to fix it right, first. At least now you have a car that goes, even if not fast.

But yeah, you ought to go for it. There is no way a 305 will make as much power as that 350 unless you spend a lot more $$$ on it.


Remember, if the 305 is in good shape, you can sell it for a bit of money, too, when it is all over - not much but there are always people looking for a motor that will make their car go.
