Has anyone used a 245/35/16 on their stock rims? Proxes T1R comes in this size; and, even though I realize this is probably not a good tire choice for our cars, I'm curious if anyone has done this. That tire is approx. 3" shorter than stock thus bringing the effective gear ratio of 3.23's to about 3.64. The speedo would obviously have to be reset via tuning software. Also, I figure that fuel economy would also suffer, as well as the car would be sitting around 1.5-2" lower and maybe looking like a lowrider with the short sidewalls on those tires. Anyone got any photos? Thanks!

 

I put 275 40 17 Toyo Proxes 4 tires all around on the 95 Z. Toyo makes a great tire and the Proxes 4 so far performs well in rain. I can't answer about the model that you have but 3 cars in my home now ride on Toyo tires.
