Default 2 newbie questions

Alright I have a bone stock 96 Z28 and Im looking for things to do it...right now Im looking into buying either an SLP Cold air intake of K&N not for sure which one...but would that be worth the $200? Also those big square tips at the end of my exhaust, would it really sound like crap if I cut them off? Personally I dont have the money to buy new headers and a whole exhaust and all that...could someone please help me out? Thanks

Depending on where u live i have a K&N cold air kit for sale. If interested make an offer. It's the whole kit including elbow at the throttle body air plenum and filter. As far as the exhuast tips, if u don't like them i say replace them with some chrome round tips.

Could you possibly post a picture of everything you are trying to sell? I will make an offer for you then. Also If I cut the factory tips off and out new ones on there will it sound horrible? I don't want to do it and then it sound like crap.

for one thing yes a CAI would be a good choice exhasut wise since you do not have that much money you could gut the cats out and just put flowmasters on...thats what i have and i have one of the best sounding camaros ive seen .... um type of transmission do you have?

I will try to post some pics in the next couple of days. From my experience the tips don't really change the sound of the exhaust. It depends on whether u have headers or not the size of the pipe and brand of muffler. On my 93 i have Edelbrock headers and muffler with 3' pipe to the muffler. And it sounds great.
