1997 z28 wont start! Help
I have a 1997 z28. We bought it with 130,000 miles on it. It seemed to run fine. A few days after having it sometimes when you went to turn the key it would turn, the lights and radio would come on, but the engine would make no attempt what so ever to turn over. After trying it a few times it would start right up though. Now it wont start at all, its doing the same thing as in the radio and stuff comes on but the engine makes no sound whatsoever. When you turn they key, you can hear a click, it clicks once and nothing happens. Then when you turn the key back a fan kicks on somewhere. I really have no clue what could be wrong. We put a new ignition lock cylinder and new ignition switch in. No luck, same thing happens, please any ideas will help! Thankyou

If you haven't already, make sure the battery is good before doing anything else extensive. Just try starting it with a boost, even if radio/lights are working.
Next guess would be the fuel pump. Make sure that is working.
After that, have a friend try and start the engine while the hood is up. Look for any sparks in the main wiring. If not, try crossing the connections on the solenoids. If the engine does turn over when you crossed the connections, replace the solenoids.
