Default 1997 Z28 value/rarity? A bit lost on what to offer

Well, up until this point Ive been a Firebird guy, but just recently I found a very nice Camaro for sale. I was in the market for a newer vehicle and thought this one was quite interesting

However, I have no clue on the value of the vehicle. I know SLP did some modifications to the vehicle, but I dont think it has the LT4. Does anyone have any info/price range on this particular vehicle?

Thanks for you help

PS great site Im glad I had found it

Well, it looks like a nice car. However, I wouldn't want to pay anymore than $15,000 for it. $16,000 tops and that is if it runs out great.

If you are looking for something a bit cheaper, and aren't stuck on the SS, I have a 1994 Z28 with an original 56,975 miles on it I am trying to sell.

If you are interested in it, let me know!

The only way that car is worth anything like that amount is if it's an LT4 car. Even then, I would imagine they'd be asking upwards of $30,000+ for it. That seems like a ton of money, even for a nice one like that.

Maybe if that were a 96 SS with low miles & you planned to put it in a bubble, it'd be worth that price. However if it were a true LT4 car...it'd be much more expensive.

Well Ive been checking with a few friends, and from what Ive been told even 12k would be too much for the vehicle so Im kinda stuck on what a decent price is on it. I know kbb value is about 10k, but Im not sure if they take all the options into consideration.

As for the 94 Z28 I would be interested, but youre quite a ways from me. Plus Im going to try and get this one financed and Im not sure how my credit will go since Im fairly young and my credit is new

For that kind of money you could have a LS1 SS, while it's not as rare as a 97 SS, it will be faster, if you care about that. I would not pay more than $9000 for it.
