just went out and cranked it only has one code now ect PO118. fires up cold but once it get hot it doesnt want to crank but IF it does it runs rough. has a reading of 181 ohm at the ect. we cranked it up and let it run till it got to 210. there is not a waterpump on it at this time. it acts like it isnt getting enough fuel ugghhh so frustrating i wish you could just come fix it for us.lol we have got to get this one running because im gettin a 1999 camaro v6 at the end of this week that we are going to have to work on. ughhh

when he changed the fuel filter it was very stopped up so of course that stuff could be in the lines too so what is a easy way to flush the fuel lines

if you are showing 181 ohms cold and going to 210 ohms warm then your ect is showing the main computer an engine temp at about 220 degrees when cold and about 195 when warmed up. did you go through all the tests at shbox link. its sayin that a 118 code can show with ect problems

we cranked it and let it get to 210 degrees then we shut it off then we checked the ect and it was reading 181 ohms so we need to read it now and see what it says cold?

if we just let it sit there then it would probably take about 20 mins but he was hitting the gas a bunch and i would say it took about 10 mins. he is taking the timing cover off and checking the relucter ring even tho it is not throwing that code anymore. so it will probabl be a min before we can try and crank it again!!!

he said he knows ther is one that goes in the waterpump and that is why it is popping up...... when we cranked it this last time no codes showed up not even the ect so please tell me that when he hooks everything back waterpump and everything that it will work properly!!! lol im not and expert but it seems it is not getting enough fuel.. i think the lines need to be flushed or something. there was a bunch of gunk and algea looking stuff iin the filter so its got to be in the lines to right
