Hey guys i bought a 1996 camaro 2 years ago to drive around my senior year of high school. Souled my soul for it if you were wondering. I got the car and its in great shape, runs great best buy i could have made but have always been curious of the z28 ss name. It has the slp badges on the driver side door, as well as ss tags on fenders and bumper, but on the center console ash tray it says z28 ss car number 1602. I was wondering if they really made a z28ss model? I can posts pick of the z28ss badges and anything else on the car if needed.

 

yeah they made a an z28 ss in 96 that was the first year slp started making the ss cars. they made 2410 ss camaros in 96. they are nice cars i just missed buying car #55 a couple months ago. i instead got a 97 anniversary camaro. here is a website to read up on your car
