Default 1994 LT-1 engine the same as 95.96,97?

im looking for the best posible engine to run in my 94 RS camaro. they say that the 1994 Z28/corvette engine will bolt right up no problems. I have found a place that sells the LT1 engine for 95,96,97 but they are not sure if it will go into the 94 z28 perfectly. Please can someone clear this up for me.

They all fit but the 95 hasa different front cover to accept the vented distributor. The 96 & newer have different front cover from the 95 to handle the Crank Position Sensor. The 96 & up have a OBDII PCM, and also have different exhaust manifolds and have two cats instead of one.
