Default 1993 Camaro z28 Starter Issues?

Okay so about 2 1/2 months ago I got in my car heard a grinding noise, and it would not start. So I went to replace the starter and it was cracked causing it to grind against the flywheel. Anyways I replaced it, everything was fine until last night same thing happened. Why does my starter keep cracking?

If the engine is misfiring can this cause that? All my bolts were tight. Thanks.

make sure you have the starter adjusted right when you install. https://camaroforums.com/forum/gener...himming-20175/

When I replaced the part today they gave me a notice that GM put out that said it could be caused by, CP Sensor, Fuel Regulator, Pcm, or timing belt. My car doesn't make any whining noise when I start it up.
