my wifes niece totaled her 93 z28 camaro so i took all of the camaro motor trans wire harness interior dash seats ect and put it in my 84 elcamino the camaro cranked over after wreck now after swap the key will not crank starter however if you jump at starter and spray eather in it does run 4 a second with key in on positin i checked all the grounds the only thing i can think of is neutral safety switch, i did try to bypass (purple wire to relay with 3 solid yellow 1yellow w/black wire no luck could it be antitheft?how do i bypass it and neutral switch any other ideas? thanks a lot 4 any help it is automatic trans w/lt1

 

its called vats. go to the fax and tech thread and see if it helps. theres a write up on vats and how to bypass it. u and use a override system at ecklers but u need to know the code for the key. do u have the keys to the camaro?
