Default ***O2 sensor not workin***

Hey anyone with advice, look at my pic and let me know what you think.. My lt1 seems to be buring rich, because I can smell it, and when I let off after I give it some good throttle it backfires sometimes. I then looked at my o2 sensor on the exhaust man. and seen 1 wire that was disconnected. The harness has a total of 4 wires (Purple, black, pink, and tan) The tan colored wire is the one thats disconnected. Will this cause the o2 to act up and make my car burn rich??? any input is greatly appriciated..

since it is after the connector you can just buy a new o2 sensor or try and solder it.

I took it in for a oil change and i had the mechanic re-sauder the o2 sensor. Its still burin a lil rich and the o2 sensor code is still thrown, so I'm thinkin i gotta buy a replacement online. Thanks for the feedback

Default O2 sensor blues

Looks like your onto something. Your sensor may have been compromised from running for to long with the wiring issue. They are super sensitive and will "foul" like a spark plug can. Recommend changing both sensors because they do age from use.
