$800 z28 investment.....
i bought a z28 for dirt cheap today.............it needs some work, apparently it needs an ignition switch and solenoid to run? i guess i'll find that out right after i buy a battery.....
what do you guys think? i suppose i'll just post pics occasionally of the restoration process. should look good when it's done, maybe i'll murder it out

I paid $1250 for mine and it runs lol. However, mine isn't a z28. Mine is in near perfect condition tho I got lucky. Looks like a potential Camaro tho. Good luck!

keep your eyes open for a base 93 to get parts from, although the parts assoiated with the motor are not interchangable. like the wiring harnesses, front suspension, engine bay, trany, rearend. the 93 has many parts that are exclusive to a 93 only so you may have your work cut out for you. the interier is almost completely the same through 96. the 700r4/4l60 auto trany is exclusive to the 93 for the 4th gen but i think some 3rd gen s will fit.

I posted something similar in the other thread where you asked about a rebuild.
Here is the big question
First, you are 17. What are your priorities? What I see in the photos is a PROJECT VEHICLE.
If what you need is a daily driver then I humbly believe that what you have, vs your needs are not even on the same page.
If what you wanted was a project vehicle and you have absolutely no rush to get it done, then congratulations on the find. You can then begin to build your budget
engine-
tranny
interior
paint
exhaust
brakes
shocks
rear seals and bearings
wheels and tires- come on, with a new paint job you don't want those stock rims do you?
oh yeah, window motors
why do i list all of the above?
it's quite simple. For previous owners to allow a vehicle to get into that shape then it demands questioning as to how the vehicle was maintained. Sometimes the book must be judged by the cover.
