Z28 hood on 1998 V6 Camaro?

I hit a deer in my dark blue 1998 V6 Camaro and there is a guy nearby selling a dark blue hood from a 1998 Z28 Camaro. Will it fit? Is the hood scoop functional?

It will fit but Z/28's did not have a scoop, the SS's did. Mkeing the scoop functional will not add any power.
