Will a c5 or c6 transmission/rearend work in my fbody?

Starting with the C5 Vette, the transmission is in the back. It's connected to the rear axle forming a transaxle, and has a torque tube that goes forward to the bellhousing. It would take more than a lot of work to swap that in.

They are right on. I have heard of a few guys swaping over to IRS on 3rd and 4th gen f-bodys but your talking about a ton of work and a lot and i mean a lot of money.
