Default whats wrong with my headlight?

I have a '98 ls-1 camaro. My car is in excellent condition and has low miles on it. I live in wisconsin and I store my car indoors between Nov. and April each year. One of my headlights has developed a sort of haze in the lens. It doesn't appear to be moisture inside, and its not scratched. Anybody know what causes this or how to repair this without replacing the headlight? I've seen this on other GM vehicles as well.

If it's just yellowing, you can get some headlight cleaner/polish **** from autozone and take care of it real quick. If it's moisture inside, you may need to bake it for about 10 minutes and pull it apart and clean out the inside and put it back together.

Yeah this is hazing which happens to alot of cars... usually american...for some reason or another.. Theres lots of write ups on the net on how to get haze off of head lights. If you want it done RIGHT ... it will take some elbow grease and different grits of sand paper, some toothpaste, plastic polish, some use a buffer wheel/ball thingy....etc... and patients. Or in some rare cases just some polish, wipe on wipe off and done.

Default Ugly Headlight

Down here in Houston, almost all of our hand car washes offer a service for headlight resto. Price is pretty fair considering the results I've seen. Try the local premium wash.
