well i finally bought a newer camaro 2002 ss 6sp i also own a 79 rs that i started to restore. so my 02 ss is stock what is the best first bolt on for power?

 

I am also new to the ls1 engine, but a new air lid is definatly best for the money, i found one at my local race shop for $75. also picked up a k &n filter, definatly breathing better!

 

A lid will work and an exhaust if your system is stock but if you have the SLP loudmouth leave it its one of the best. But if you want some real power get headers they add real power to the LS1. oh and switch that hurst shifter with a B&M it has a much shorter throw the the hurst
