The camaro that I own is a 2002 Z28, 4spd auto, black leather all around, 35th anniversary badge on dash, manual windows, electric doorlocks but with no button ( i assume only on the remote, which I dont have..I just know that when i turn the key off both doors unlock so they have to have motors,) LS1 5.7L, MSD factory-appearing matched plugwires, SLP catback exhaust and SLP exh tips, and SLP intake box (with K&N lid now but the rest is SLP,) as well as a factory matched spoiler and ground effects package. I tried to purchace a piece of the front bodykit I was missing from the Chevrolet dealer and they informed me that my car was a SLP performance anniversary edition Z28 and that they did not carry any of the bodykit parts as they had to be ordered directly from SLP. Now...my issue is that...
1. I dont understand how it can be an anniversary edition with all leather and all these factory extras but have manual windows.

2. I cant find a single article that says anything about a "SLP Z28" only about the SLP SS.

Wtf! Anyone got some info for meh? I'm new to the camaro world, they are my favorite cars but I've always been an import driver until now.


Also...I keep noticing that my engine layout seems different from the pictures I see of everyone else's Z28...most notably the absence of the EGR valve in its normal position by oil fill cap, and routing of major cable looms and hoses...any significance?

 

slp didnt really do much for the z28,slp just did mostly appearace stuff for the ss,however its still a chevrolet not a slp.SLP is just an aftermarket company.
To answer for first question,whoever ordered the car chose to have manual windows i assume.

 

so basically the intake, pipes, n body kit (even tho by SLP) was just some kinda optional extra or dealer installed package the original owner ordered with it hu. Still be nice if i could get the body kit pieces from the chevy dealer lol
