What can I do?
Case in hand: 1999 Camaro SS. Would like to make it a bit less rough on the suspention side, so it does not take the bumps as hard and with so mich noise. And don't tell me that that's the way it should be. Had a Camaro before, much smoother....
Well in the caseof an SS that is how they are. They have a stiffer suspension and lower profile tires which makes them handle well but have a bit of a harsh ride. You could try a less performance orientated tire, and maybe new shocks but that will probably only help out a small amount.
Thanks for the tip. The shocks I thought about myself. How about springs? Are there any that are not lowering? You can see from the photo that the car is low as is, any more and I "ll be wiping the dust of the streets.
I got to look at the suspension system period. I got tha car from CA (I am in NY) of E-Bay. Drove it 1 time from Transportation terminal. Found ou that the turn signals and the horn don't work so I took it to my mechanic to replace the releys. The only problem is that whenever I look for parts for suspension I see "lowering". The car is as low as is because of the skirts, so I need something that will maintain the height, any suggestions?
well...if you take my Z28 suspension, it's all stock, so it won't ride as low or as harsh. In all seriousness, if you wanna trade, I'll do it straight up, the car has 46,*** miles on it and I've never touched a piece of the suspension. If you're at all interested pm me and we can try to work something out.
