Upcoming ls1 Header Install.
I'm gonna be posting about my upcoming header installation project. I finally have mustered up enough cash money to install the stuff I bought last year and I am taking an inventory to be sure I have everything before I get started on it. I went the route of keeping cats and all my air systems because after I'm done with school I may end up relocating to a state which has emissions standards.
Right now I have: Pacesetter LTs/texas speed catted y pipe, TR55 spark plugs, rear o2 sensor deletes (can't get a tune for a little while so deletes will be needed for now) new o2 sensors for when the fronts blow.
I am just not sure what the best spark plug wire is to order, I know that the headers produce insane amounts of heat so I need to be certain that I either try to put in heat shields or get heat resistant wires or do both?
Also my car has over 105,xxx miles so I am gonna do a tune up, other than plugs and wires what other maintenance should I perform or take a look at?
any help/warnings are always welcome. Hopefully I will be able to get some pics up of the process as we go.

Ceramic or painted LT's?
Stock wires are fine as they have metal heat shields on them already, but MSD wires are always nice as you can twist/adjust them.
Motor mounts. Seeing as your car has some miles on it, I would highly suggest looking into doing those as well. It is a difficult job, but when doing a LT install it is the best time to do them (after you remove the old manifolds and before you put the LT's on).
Take your time with it and don't overtighten the header bolts, 10 ft/lbs is all they need. Also remember the heads are aluminum and WILL strip easy if you overtorque the bolts or your alignment is off; I had this happen to me, not fun at all.
I'd highly suggest following the guides on ls1tech, they show you some tips/tricks you otherwise wouldn't have thought of.
