Smile Throttle Body

Hey all, another quick question that many of you should be able to answer.... If I were to buy a bigger throttle body, would i have to buy anything else such as bigger injectors or anything like that? Also would the computer be thrown off by having a bigger one?

Unless you modified the engine to where it can't get enough air with the stock TB, a bigger TB won't do much, except giving you the false feeling that the engine is making more power. This is due to the fact that a larger throttle opening is obtained with the same gas pedal movement. At WOT the feeling disappears.

Ya, that makes sense... You seem very knowledgeable, would you be willing to put your two cents into my question here; https://camaroforums.com/forum/ls-series-tech-15/growling-noise-58851/ I just figured the more thoughts on it the better.

I agree with z28pete, but if you are not driving your car at wide open throtle all the time you will feel a difference from stop light to stop light.

When you start doing bolt ons, etc. look into getting your stock tb ported/polished. Check this link out http://www.s2performance.net/F-Body.html The work he did for me was great and I was able to use that tb even with my first couple cams.
