I am currently in the process of buying a 2001 Z28 Camaro. I have been reading through this forum all day trying to pick out the pros and cons of the LS1. I know these topices have been probably beaten to death but need some quick answers. I read somewhere about the check engine light blinking when goin through the gears, the car missing while going through the gears and the car vibrating like a mother when rev'd up. I tried searching again but have had no luck. The dealer will probably say they will drop the price instead of fixing the car. I just need some info on the problems so I can go in with a loaded gun instead of my pants around my ankles. PLEASE HELP! Any information will be greatly appreciated. Love the car and can't believe it took this long to realize the fun and power drivin it. Thanks in advance.

 

Check engine light could be the fuel pump.... go to harbor freight, get a obd-2 decipher, code reader, and plug it in....it will probably tell you .....right bank lean...left bank lean......missfire at speed.,,if it does it is the fuel pump bro......oh yeah they are 40.00 at harbor freight
