if i was wanting to run a centrifugal supercharger at or around 10psi, would i need to do anything to the internals of an ls1? is it a good idea?

you would probably have to run lower compression pistons just to be safe. My buddy has a 2000 WS6 with a procharger running at 7 psi with no problems. he has all stock internals as well

It should work with a STOCK LS1 motor. You can upgrade the cam and reflash the computer. Use premium fuel and if you do have a little spark knock, you can always install water injection.

10 psi will be ok on a stock short block, but it is really about the safe limit if running on 93 octane. Remember that the tune is going to be super critical, so go to a well trusted tuner.
