Default Sandpaper

I used the PlasticX on my headlights yesterday, it got must of the cloudy look out of my driver side headlight, but my passenger is still pretty bad. I was going to use the 1500 grit sand paper. Is this a good grit to use or should i use a finer one? Should i wet it as well? Thanks.

When using the finer stuff, wetsanding is good.

I did this a few months ago, and I wetsanded with 800 then 1500 grit, moved to toothpaste, and then Mothers Plastic Polish with a Powerball. Just be sure to apply the toothpaste about 2-3 times to help get rid of most of the 1500 grit marks. Also just use plain original toothpaste, its a very fine abrasive comprable to 2000-2500 grit, its cheaper than sandpaper, and you can get around thouse plastic nubs alot easier.
