Does the 2000 z28 6 speed manual; have a rev limiter/governor?
and if so how to get rid of it ?

Why would you want to get rid of the rev limiter?

I guess that would depend on how low bellow the red line it is set if there is one. I know for fact that some new vehicles(not camaros)have a limiter at 4000 rpm which isnsane)

Hmmm...a limiter at 4k would probably help with my low gas mileage lol

you can tune it out with a hand held tuner, EFI live is best for full tuning but a hyper tech can do it. you will blow you engine up if you set it past 6500 rpm really. unless you have built it up stronger

I'd leave it where it's at. Once you start upgrading the cam and the rest of the valvetrain, then you might look at changing it.

Yeah, no point in changing rev limiter until you do some serious mods. The ones you have now wouldn't change it by much
